Mrs. Dufresne, a valued staff member at Granby Jr/Sr High school, collaborated with Braeden Gallagher to host an annual Autism Awareness Volleyball Tournament four years ago. Braeden Gallagher is a senior at GJSHS, who has a sibling on the spectrum, and is very passionate about spreading awareness about autism. This event helps raise money for supplies to help students with unique needs that otherwise may not be met due to budget constraints.
The tournament is a double elimination and the winning team will receive a gold medal. It costs $40 to enter a team, that averages $6.70 per person, 6 people per team. You and your team can come up with a cool fun team name and even design your own shirts!Â
This event will be held on April 17, 2026 at 7PM in the GJSHS gymnasium. Spectators and participants are encouraged to attend as this is a community wide event!
