Felicia :Why was the kitchen shut down?  

Ken: The kitchen was shut down during COVID because ventilation system was way out dated and needed repairing   

 Ciara :Will there be any new meals  being served?

Ken: Now that the kitchen is open we will see a lot of new meals, fresh home made food being served, and a lot of new things for us to cook.

Felicia :How does it feel to have the kitchen back ?

Ken and Doug : It feels wonderful to have the kitchen back. It’s nice to have the food nice, hot and ready, rather than having to bring it all the way from the elementary school and having it sit in a closet and having cold meals .

 Ciara: Will there be any cooking clubs where students will be able to work and learn how to make small and simple meals?

 Ken: We might be able to have a cooking club some days at the end of the day or get together after the holidays.

Ciara : Will there be any new staff for the kitchen?

Doug and Ken : Yes, there will be one new person coming in. Doug was also new; he used to work for the elementary school 

 Felicia :How long was the kitchen shut down for ? 

Ken : The kitchen was shut down for about 4 and a half years.
