- How long have you done swimming in the program or as a sport in general ?
Jared: I’ve done the program for swimming since my freshman year and I’ve loved it ever since. I wish I would have done club swimming when I was younger but at the same time I’m glad I joined the high school team when I did because of all of the memories I’ve made.
- Who do we CO-OP with for swimming?
Jared: Now unfortunately not a whole lot of people know we do have a swim team let alone co-op with Holyoke and South Hadley. Originally it was only South Hadley around 4 years ago but since their pool broke we switched to both Holyoke and South Hadley
- What’s been some good memories of being on the team?
Jared: It’s hard to only pick one memory from my 4 years of swim, everyone on the team has made it a memorable experience,
even though the team has shrunk significantly I’ve still had the time of my life
- Are you going to miss swimming?
Jared: In the end, looking back on everything I can’t remember a time I wasn’t happy going to a practice or a meet. I never wanted to do it to begin with and here I am now 4 years later looking back on it reminiscing all the good times I’ve had, all the people I’ve met and all the experiences I’ve had. Unfortunately I am going to miss swim a lot but if I was given another shot I’d do it all over again.
