
1. What was one of the most memorable memories from playing soccer?
Anthony: Yeah for me I would have to say the most memorable memories from playing soccer has to be my Sophomore year winning Western Mass.
Brodie: For me I would have to say playing on Halloween under the lights, It was such a fun night and a great experience.
2. What life lessons did you learn playing soccer?
Anthony: Even though you want something badly doesn’t mean it will work out.
Brodie: Keeping a good mindset even at the lowest when things are not going your way.
3. Will you try to play soccer in college?
Anthony and Brodie: Probably not, we both don’t see a possibility where we play unless some circumstances arise
4. What is your favorite sport?
Anthony: My favorite sport has to be soccer, you know I’ve played it my entire life
Brodie: For me, I would have to say my favorite sport is Baseball and I look forward to the season.
5. Do you think attitude is a factor in winning?
Anthony: Absolutely, a bad mindset is reflected in every action you do in the game.
Brodie: 100%, you need passion and you need to care and I feel like a lot of people just don’t care
6. What qualities make someone a good teammate?
Brodie: ooo that’s a difficult question, I would say that every player is their own and everyone brings something different to the team so its difficult to narrow it down to just a few aspects.
Anthony: I would have to say leaders, players who aren’t afraid to stand out and lead.
7. How does being an athlete make you a better person?
Anthony: Being an athlete helped me build a new set of skills, allowed me to be competitive in a good way, and overall only positives and nothing bad.
Brodie: Being an athlete has allowed me to work with new people, taught me to overcome adversity, and how to deal with hard times.
8. What is the team’s focus this year?
Anthony: I think we have a genuine shot at Western Mass this year.
Brodie: I also think we could have a good run. I also think its important to take the season game by game and not get too far ahead of ourselves.
9. How do you feel being winners on the Western Mass team?
Anthony: Feels great, first ever Western Mass win in the program’s history so it was nice to bring it home. I will say though, the early success has been hard to live up to.
Brodie: Great feeling. Being out there with the team celebrating is a memory I will never forget.
