It was Amherst Co-op’s first game on Friday September 12 2025, Amherst won their game against Smith Voc 10-0.

Ethan Bergeron quote: “It was a fun experience to try something new. I wanted to play football sophomore year but didn’t because of my physical health. I quit because there was too much stress on me and my physical health wasn’t good enough to continue. Most of the kids from Amherst didn’t treat me good or fairly and i didnt wanna be depressed for the whole season and I didn’t get enough playing time. But football is still my favorite sport till this day. I really loved the coaches, especially Coach Nick. He was my guy and helped me through a lot and made sure I had a chance to play.”

Raymond A Colon quote: “My experience playing football for Amherst has been going good for the past 3 years I’ve played. I started off playing corner back on defense my first two years now I start on both sides of the ball playing cornerback and wide receiver. The friendships I made with the other players and coaches have been amazing. My favorite moments on the team is when we would win big games and celebrate as a team.”
